In 2024, I referenced some concept art by Carmen Carballo for this hero-shooter character. It was really fun bringing her concept into 3D.
S0L is designed for game engines, at roughly 57k tris and with separate materials for her skin, hair, clothing and eyes, though there's still room for plenty of mesh and texture optimization down the track.
She was modelled using Maya and Zbrush, textured in Substance Painter, rigged and posed in Maya, and rendered in Unreal Engine 5.
